Yes! Well deserved and too long in coming. What was the medal around Kurt's neck-did that have something to do with having sat on the academy board? Or was it just for valor?

Valor -- we like that! Actually, all nominees get those medallions. He's got 9 of 'em now. Not something you'd wear often Wink.

What about that tasteful plaid tux?

Hey all!! Hello from the Grammys--

Rev, the medallion is a nominee's medallion; all nominees receive one, so I'm happy to say I'm wearing mine right now, too.

Anyway, KE's a bit busy at the moment, so I thought I'd chime in briefly (I'm sure he will, too, when he's able) and thank everyone for their support and enthusiasm. We have a great group of faithful fans & real believers and we never forget or take for granted your zeal and perseverance. Thanks so much.!

Hey--we WON!!!

(I would not jinx, I would not discuss, I would not predict.)

DTY is a truly beautiful side and the KE Group deserved to win the award.

Great performances, great arrangements, a great concept. Well done!

Highest congratulations to Kurt, Laurence, and everyone else involved with this project.

And continued success.

Also to Kurt, very nice hosting and duet singing. I hope that many people (new fans) around the world got to watch and listen online.

Congratulations to KE and LH. You deserve this honor because of your
dedication to jazz music and your great respect for some of the greatest musicians to whom you have admired and also played. Some of your long
admiring fans in Chicago knew this day would come. As I mentioned to LH
at the Mill Christmas party, the numbers favor you in 2010. Look forward
in seeing you again soon. Paul Newman, a great peformer, didn't win his first statue until "The Color of Money" even though he was brilliant in "Hud", "The Verdict", "Butch Cassidy...", "The Sting". Love and Peace.

lavoz85, we understand from the GRAMMY folks that the podcast *will* be available for 30 days on grammy.com. Apparently they haven't posted it yet -- they're kinda busy at the moment. Wink We'll let everybody here know when it's up.
