Thanks! Always like to hear about good jazz reads. And really glad that George Wein has brought the festival back! And now he blogs, too. Awesome!

Another really interesting piece is the profile of Fred Hersch in last Sunday's New York Times Magazine. (Most of you know that Kurt was the featured vocalist on Fred Hersch's 2005 masterpiece, "Leaves of Grass.")
